I threw a cropped military jacket over a black Shift dress and booties to give a laid back fall look that is perfect for any event. To change up the look swap out the jacket for an oversized sweater and hat.

I found this Liz Claiborne cotton shift dress (perfect condition) at a goodwill. It is such a simple silhouette that is great to dress up or down and over accessorize!

Super basic look that can transition easily to fit your plans. I paired jeans, tee and sandals for early morning errands then paired with penny loafers and a blazer for afternoon exploring. I try to keep my wardrobe free of super trendy items and invest in key pieces that have a longer life cycle. I thrifted this blazer last week for $4.99. I can layer over casual jeans + tee or add heals and a leather skirt for going out.
