I threw a cropped military jacket over a black Shift dress and booties to give a laid back fall look that is perfect for any event. To change up the look swap out the jacket for an oversized sweater and hat.

I found this Liz Claiborne cotton shift dress (perfect condition) at a goodwill. It is such a simple silhouette that is great to dress up or down and over accessorize!

Going Green

The average person tosses an estimated 70 pounds of clothing and shoes annually.

I’m working towards adopting more vintage and second hand pieces into my wardrobe to have a more green closet and encourage those around me to do the same. It isn’t easy to adopt an all second hand wardrobe overnight, but my goal is to find unique pieces that compliment my existing wardrobe and invest in newer pieces from eco conscious retailers.

That being said, check out some of the newest finds my friend Lydia agreed to model.

These low-rise, emerald green pants are absolutely everything and look stunning paired with some high platforms. I paired the pant with a metallic baroque short sleeve vintage top that can be worn closed (shown below) or worn open with a cute bralette!
